VOLUNTEER IN THE PATCH
It's that time again!! We invite you to volunteer in the TUMC Austin Pumpkin Patch and help us bring joy to neighbors near and far. Like every year, the beautiful TUMC lawn draws people from across our community for festive pictures and "gourd"geous pumpkins. We're maintaining the patch from October 6-until sold out.
Proceeds from the pumpkin patch go directly to the following ministry partners:
Zoe Empowers
Zoe Empowers works with cohorts of orphaned youth heads of household who are experiencing extreme poverty to help them achieve financial stability. The program begins by asking these children what their dreams are and what work they can do to realize those dreams. Learn more here.
Habitat for Humanity
Since the mid 1990's, Tarrytown United Methodist Church has partnered with Austin area United Methodist Churches to fund and build new habitat homes. Every other year we commit to raising $10,000 and providing team members to help with the build. Proceeds from this year's pumpkin patch will go to help build a home here in Austin in 2025
