Finance Update
March 3, 2025
Dear TUMC Family,

At the February 25th meeting of the TUMC Administrative Board, the Committee reviewed final 2024 financial reports for the church. Generous giving by many of our members, including gifts above-and-beyond their pledged amount, as well as careful cost management by our staff, enabled the church to end 2024 with a surplus of $30,974. We are deeply grateful for
the generosity of our members and the faithful and conservative stewardship of the church staff and TUMC Finance Committee.

Looking forward, the Administrative Board also approved a 2025 Operating Budget of $2,727,612.10, a 3 percent reduction compared to the 2024 budget. Copies of the 2025 Operating Budget are available in the reception area of church office for review.

Finally, the Board celebrated the upcoming payoff of our debt related to the construction of the Fellowship Hall and Administration Buildings. After many years of faithful giving, our church will be debt-free on March 17, 2025!

TUMC is in a solid financial position as we enter 2025. Please join us in continued prayers for our church and for the witness of Jesus Christ in Austin and beyond.
